| Child Abuse Workshop (Second Update) |
This approved training meets the New York State Education Department mandatory requirements for Training in Child Abuse Identification and Reporting. It was updated to meet requirements pursuant to Social Services Law sections 413(5) and 413(6), as added by Part JJ of Chapter 56 of the Laws of 2021 and Chapter 646 of the Laws of 2023, to include information on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), implicit bias, trauma, and guidance on how to identify an abused or maltreated child with an intellectual or developmental disability. All mandated reporters must complete this training by 11/17/2026.
PLEASE NOTE: IF you have previously purchased and completed the Child Abuse Workshop (New Program) through the NYCDOE Office of HR School Support, you do not need to purchase this workshop. An email will be sent to the email address you used when you purchased the Child Abuse Workshop (New Program). That email will contain a link to the Addendum (shorter version of Child Abuse Workshop Second Update) for you to complete. |

| School Violence Prevention Workshop | This online course is quick, convenient and certified by the State of New York. The School Violence Prevention and Intervention workshop is intended to educate and prepare instructors and other school personnel on the early warning signs and imminent warning signs of violence; best practices for violence prevention, intervention, and response; and, resources for further information. This workshop consists of 6 sections and there is a test after each section. |

| Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) | The NYCDOE Office of HR School Support is a New York State approved provider of the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) workshop. This workshop is a six (6) hour online workshop. The workshop is comprised of six (6) Modules/Sections. Upon completion of the workshop, we will issue a Certificate of Completion. | Autism Workshop | The NYCDOE is an approved provider of the Autism workshop. The Autism workshop is a three-hour workshop that provides critical information on the needs of students with autism and on the clinical and associated features of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This three-hour workshop fulfills requirements for educators and administrators seeking certification through the New York State Education Department. |
