NYC Public Schools Mid-Year Teaching Opportunities Form

We're looking for teachers who hold New York State certification and are committed to success for all students.

Please complete this form if you have a current valid certificate to teach in New York State and are interested in full-time teaching opportunities that may become available between now and March 2027. After you complete this form, the NYC Public Schools Applicant Services support team will review your information and verify your certificate status. Once your certification is verified, we may share your information with principals who are actively looking to fill teaching positions at their schools.

You will also receive updates on the 2027-28 NYCPS Teacher Application, which will open this winter. Visit TeachNYC.net for additional information about teaching at NYC Public Schools and visit the Support Center to submit any questions.
