Director of Youth Development Programs, OSPP
Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director of School Culture and Climate, the Director of Youth Development Programs leads the design, management, and oversight of youth development initiatives within the Office of Safety and Prevention Partnerships (OSPP). This role is responsible for operationalizing OSPP priorities through youth development strategies that integrate social-emotional learning and restorative practices to strengthen positive school culture and climate across New York City Public Schools (NYCPS). Performs related work.
Reports to: Executive Director of School Culture and Climate
Direct Reports: Senior Administrators of SEL; Senior Administrators of SEL and Design; Senior Administrators of SEL and Academic Integration; Senior Administrators of School Services; Citywide Director of Restorative Justice Programs; Citywide Director of LGBTQ+ Programs; and Gender Equity Coordinator.
Key Relationships: Works closely with central and field staff as well as external agencies and community partners.
Responsibilities
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum
Must currently possess or will possess by date of hire, New York State certification as a school district administrator (SDA) or school district leader (SDL); or the Administrator Certificate plus Superintendent extension. Please Note: We do not accept internship certificates.

Preferred
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000
NOTE: The filling of all positions is subject to budget availability and/or grant funding.
